Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court and agency records, but the access route depends on the record type. Clearwater County does not operate a separate county-only court case database. Public court case lookup generally starts with Idaho iCourt, while certified copies and older case files route through the Clerk of the District Court at the courthouse in Orofino.
The same elected Clearwater County Clerk/Auditor/Recorder also handles recorder and marriage-license functions, so users may search for the clerk, court clerk, recorder, or county clerk and still need one unified local office. Jail, warrant, booking, driver, state prison, and federal court records use different systems.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Idaho court, Clearwater County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document, recorded document, or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, or access rule is current at the moment you use it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
